L'aparte - Ax-les-Thermes

We had luck to choose this little restaurant for lunch. the menu is easy not to choose much, which in the rule gives a hint to the fresh of food. very well prepared, simple products combined in a delicious lunch.

Probably the only restaurant in ax offers a vegetarian menu and no pizzas or galettes. it is very small and you need to book. the suppe was beautiful, but very small served in a small glass. the spinach type was beautiful, but unfortunately lukewarm and clear...warm in a microwave. the owner who also serves was abrupt, not welcoming or friendly, it felt like she wanted to be somewhere else. the desert of home made yogurt was good, but we would rather have the mousse ah chocolat. we didn't dare. we asked for a hot chocolate and she told us that the place was too small to store milk, and it seems that it is too small to store a few sacks of crimped tea.

This small restaurant offers a family kitchen prepared with fresh local products. the shapes are affordable (between 19 and 21€, for three courses at dinner.) the dee “pot au feu” is delicious, such as suppening and salat or gambas with rice short but good...wine list, including a large pic Saint-Loup (red 21€ bottle). highly recommended.

When we visited there were two menus, a vegetarian and a normal. Our group had a mix of both and all were extremely impressed. You feel a little like you're in someone's front room. The owner chef was extremely friendly and coped well with...our rubbish French. Well worth a go.

Tres jolie adresse. Cuisine a l'inspiration tres reussie. Un grand vin decouvert, un mourvedre, vraiment pas cher et excellent. Et la soiree finie a discuter avec les voisins. Chouette adresse.
