We loved our dinner at the Metropolitan. Relaxed atmosphere, causal atmosphere, great service... and the food to share creative tapas style was excellent. Everything was delicious, well seasoned, cooked for perfection... we all really enjoyed the experience. The wine list was also well rounded.
We took dinner at the Met while we were looking for our wedding place in Beaver Creek. Holy cow, what a pleasant surprise! The food was absolutely delicious along with ingenious drinks (must try the barrel of old Manhattan! . The tacos, tuna slider, bacon wrapped dates, cake bites it was all so delicious. In addition, the crazy enomatic 16 bottle wine machine they have there, which is not only a great piece of conversation, but it is a good way to taste a number of wines instead of getting a glass. The food and drinks were so good, we decided to throw a happy hour for our guests the day before the wedding. Again, the food was absolutely delicious. They treated our 50 guests with ease, the food was just as good on the scale, the venue fits our group very well (may have taken even more). Service was excellent Thair served excellent drinks while Kenny and Rob served all afternoon and keep an eye on everything. Chef Steven was a pleasure to work and chat with. Kenny was a pleasure to keep an eye on our budget to make sure we had enough food for everyone without going crazy. Overall, this was an amazing place to eat either alone or with a huge group. The prices are very reasonable and the food is unsurpassed in the village. Thank you to these people!!
Good ambiance and friendly service. Food was good but even by Beaver Creek standards, it's pricey. $18 for two tiny tacos (see pic and some potato chips. Much quieter here than upstairs at the Dusty Boot, but a lack of customers tells another story. (note: Google maps currently shows separate listings/locations for The Met Kitchen and the Metropolitan but it's the same place, on the mid level and below the Dusty Boot.
Not my taste. I am from Latin America and these plates and drinks are lacking some of our spice. Experience it for yourself, don't take my word for it. Picture is from an Arepa.
