Cantinallegra - Auxerre

We had dinner during our holiday in auxerre, chose this restaurant based on the recommendation of our bed breakfast and were a little disappointed. eating was okay, it could be healthy, but not so beautifully presented, the wee were also ok, but...no more and the service was not so friendly. we found that there is not a good quality/price ratio when calculating. also our daughter just ordered the vegetables w/o the meat and paid the same price. beautiful location near the water, but we wouldn't come back next time.

Kira is our angel in that she not only suggested a great health food market but filled us in on the last jazz jam session in their Jazz Club until September. It was great fun. . . what amazingly talented musicians! We really enjoyed a...delicious, healthy salad for lunch. Highly recommended in every way!

Good restaurant serving local organic food and local wine. Limited choice of course show it's all freshly cooked, runs out if you come late. Staff very friendly and very French.

Quite a lively scene by the water on a Friday night in Auxerre. Nice for a drink, but do not bother with the food. we were much disappointed. Totally overpriced for what it was.

I had the Greeked boeuf and my wife had grilled trout were super boiled and delicious. our appetizers were escargots and a terrine with foie gras. Stunning value at €23 for two courses service was prompt and very friendly. they can say they use. the best ingredients that are sympathetic cooked. we loved it and will visit again when in auxerre.
