Hecho En Mexico - Austin

So I ordered the chili relleno with chicken. You'll notice from the picture I only ate the pepper , and I'm trying to scarf down the rice/beans. This meat is suspicious, it doesn't taste right at all. Someone mentioned that their food tasted old, I can see how they'd come to that conclusion. Save your coins stomach and look elsewhere.

The margaritas here are the absolute best anywhere. We eat here frequently and the results are always consistent. Excellent food all the way around. The mole is the best anywhere. Super delicious food all the time. And the absolute friendliest staff anywhere. It doesn’t get better. Expect interior Mexican food and a welcome at home feeling.

Had the pork enchiladas with the red sauce. Not very good. And the black beans tasted old . Even the rice was a bit stale. Ate some of it... Then switched to Tequila. A decent selection, hence the 2 stars. I won 't be back to eat here.

This place was definitely hop in when we arrived. We got a seat and we're promptly served chips and salsa. The chips were very thin which I love. And the salsa was quite different than a typical salsa that you find in a Mexican restaurant. It was thin and spicy. We chose to split a dish of enchiladas with three sauces. It was very thoughtful of the server to actually split the dish and serve us each our own plate. Everything had excellent flavor the cream sauce in the middle was so good I wanted more but after tasting both the rojo and the verde I couldn't decide what I liked more I was very happy with our selection.

Real authentic Mexican food and very friendly staff!
