Komachi Japanese Restaurant - Aurora

Komachi is in a plaza next to a movie theatre, just a couple of minutes down the road from Mi-Ne, thus even though its nestled away, it is not that hard to find. The staff has always been great and the fish, super fresh; rarely have I seen Toro that red, aside from in Japan! The specialty rolls are few and far between, but what they do have is fresh and tasty. Their appetizers aren't vast, but also fresh and tasty. Coupled with the great service (chefs prepare your food VERY quickly) and Komachi is far and away a great choice if you're in the area and need some quick sushi.

The sushi here is very good and very reasonable priced! The service is excellent! Decor is plain but clean! Chicken Teriyaki Bento box was extremely filling!

I've been to a lot of sushi restaurants in York Region (Aurora predominately) and this place is fantastic! AMAZING VALUE... Even better food than what you expect for the value! Restaurant is family owned and ran so there is continuity among wait-staff. Ordered take out from here a few times for dinner for working late night in our office.For Aurora, it is an ok Japanese food with relatively fresh fish they use. Quality wise, it is obviously not anywhere near Mine Sushi but sometimeslower prices justify going here for a quick sushi craving.
