La Choperia de San Miguel - Atlixco

Since I traveled to many places, this place is not the best when it comes to cuts of meat or temperature. I asked for a medium, well-draining steak and got raw. While my partner order well made and receive medium. We were the only people in the restaurant because it was hard at night. We waited 10mins and no server to see. We had to look for the waiter to see if we could dive. For the cost of food, I definitely expected better service and experience.

This is a great restaurant, excellent service and very good menu, the staff was very professional and offers a good service. My family and I tried various options of the menu such as chalupas, shrimp cocktail, carne asada and some more was delicious, definitely I will recommend it and I will be back soon!

Easy to find in the Zocalo this place has amazing Mexican style breakfast. Its not cheap to local standards, but the portions are enormously awaiting to pay about $300 per head with endless coffee, juice and fruit.

We thought it was a late lunch after driving for a few hours earlier. Located directly opposite the zocalo, it offers outdoor seats and the opportunity to enjoy the feeling and ambience of Atlixco. The food was delicious and good for the portion sizes. There are many places to eat in downtown, but that was a good stop for us and worth the time.

This restaurant has a mixed identity. While some of the decoration is very original, interesting and tasteful, some of it is not quite there. The food is good, but not great. The menu emphasises several local dishes (or variations thereof) and is reasonably priced. The location, on the arcade of the main square, could not be better. It is not the only restaurant on the square, but may be the best value for your money.
