Bidrage med feedbackService was slower than expected given the number of patrons. The quality of the service, when we received it was great. Food was fantastic. Drinks were great as well. I would return hoping to get quicker service.
Restaurant has changed name, management and importantly menu, which was greatly scalded down from previous management
We went to BourbonBar hoping to get some breakfast. Yes, there is bar and bourbon in the name, but given that the restaurant is in the Intercontinental, we were hoping for something decent. We were disappointed. The dated décor and odd furnishing gave way to a lackluster menu. There were very few options, some of which included eggs and bacon for $16. The staff was pleasant enough but I was certainly hoping for better.
The restaurant was a short walk from many hotels and MARTA. The bourbon bar was separate from the restaurant, but a great spot to have a finely crafted cocktail before the meal. Plan to go there before your reservation and yes, on weekend a reservation is a must. From starters to dessert, every bite was delicious. We shared the main dish and had two extraordinary salads and the avocado toast with crawfish. What!? We finished off with the red velvet cake. I will definitely go back!
My husband and I had reservations for Valentine’s Day. The menu was ok, but the ambiance seemed off because the tables were too close and it felt that we had to whisper to talk. The service was great with our server, Marcus. It was a nice evening in the lobby enjoying the live band and our suite afterwards though.
