Maggiano's Perimeter - Atlanta

As a family, we decided on Maggiano’s for Sunday dinner and booked a 7:30 reservation. We arrived early and were okay to wait until our reservation time, but after 20 mins we were still waiting. After asking again and finally being seated, we got seated with a server who was clearly being over worked. Time went by and I actually had to go back to the host stand to ask for menus. Although our server was great personality wise, his overall service, as well as the restaurant itself, was terrible. I work in the service industry myself and I was truly disappointed from my visit.

The overall experience was good, but the waitress was not the greatest. She appeared to be new and lacked friendliness.

The biggest problem is that we were a table of 9 and they really packed us in, instead of have one more small table added to us, they placed chairs on both ends of the table making it rather uncomfortable.

Solid food. Service great. Tables way too close together, I kept feeling the chaor behind bump into me. Was very loud due to closeness of all the tables.

Maggiano’s used to be a place to go for special events and holidays because of the amazing food, but as of recently it’s no longer a place I ever want to frequent. Service is mediocre, and the food leaves much to be desired. From the indifferent and rude host, to the poor service having to constantly ask for refills and advise them the order is incorrect, to the poor tasting food. Such a disappointment, we’ve been going here for years and now we rather frequent any other local restaurant.
