Hendershot's - Athens

Great atmosphere like a cave. Music often and Oli pop. The coffee is good, but the espresso is better. Would be nice to have a greater pastry selection. Staff was friendly and welcoming.

Visited for the first time today. Cute and cozy location. Really nice staff. Best coffee and breakfast I’ve had all week. Thank you! I’ll be back.

We go to Hendershot’s fairly regularly, as we live nearby. It’s an Athens institution! The coffee is always tasty, the service friendly, and the food is good. The Hendo burrito is not to be missed. Plus, you can get a little something from the bar any time of day; a definite plus. Their evening performances range from music to comedy to drag and I’ve never been disappointed by a show. Intimate spot for a concert, but lots of room to spread out during the day, indoors or out, if you want to meet with a friend, get some work done, or enjoy some solitude. Great music always playing on the overhead. It always feels special.
