Bidrage med feedbackGreat great great place, a must visit one. Beautiful lake covered with mountain, palash flowers are fireing the eyes. A sight to remember. Must visit at spring. It may be hot but the beauty is quite 10 times that other time. Board a train for adra or purulia from asansol jn and deboard at muradi station. From there its 2-3km, you can walk Between beautiful village and nature easyly. No real communication, no food opt so note this. Hotels are there, govt privet but only beside the lake. If you try to visit in one day its better to leave before sun sets as area is pretty void.
It's a place of peace with the blend of natural blessings.
It is a good place to spend some time watching the mesmerizing sunset. A little bit of a remote location, but no problem at all in getting there. Previously it was a quiet area with only a few people coming from here and there, but now as the place is grabbing attention of people, and as usual there's too much crowd on weekends. There's even parking by the locals now. Resorts are there if one wants to stay there for the night. But there's nothing exceptional after sunset.
Good for a picnic. Winter weekends are over crowded. Need public washrooms. Few resorts are there around the reservoir. Spending an evening away from city life can be enjoyable.
