Lola Taqueria - Aruba

This place was so unhelpful and NOT gluten free friendly. They specifically state on their menu that their tortillas are homemade and gluten free, yet all but one taco is NOT gluten free. Waiters seemed overall annoyed to be asked to make accommodations to an allergy. I would not recommend. There are so many other great gluten-free places on the island, skip this.

They advertise GF but have very limited options. For example, even nachos are marked gf but they are not because they use the same oil to cook items with gluten. Both my daughter and I are gluten-free for celiac and besides a salad they did have a gluten-free taco that they could make with a corn soft tortilla that was very bland. Inside was unseasoned chicken, lettuce, a small amount of avocado and some carrots shreds. It had no flavor and it was very boring. Very disappointing

Only one taco is truly gluten free. Tacos al pastor otherwise I’d move on. Very nice though.

Very safe! I have celiac and had no issues eating here. Extremely fresh and delicious. They make their own corn tortillas. Yum!

GF menu as well as corn tortilla chips and tacos. Lots of options and great food
