Gavi - ARMONK

We ordered takeout from Gavi during our visit to Armonk yesterday. The appetizers and dinners we had were fantastic.

I reviewed this restaurant a few years ago and did not give it a good review. Well, I have since changed my mind! My family and I have become frequent visitors to this fine restaurant. Whether you fine inside or out, the establishment is well appointed. The wait staff is very attractive, congenial, and simply the best. The place is clean, including the bathrooms. As far as the food is concerned there is an extensive menu with weekly specials changing each week. They are quite accommodating regarding substitutions. Of course, the food is top notch! Certain portions are generous while others, not so much but it depends on what you order. Parking is never a problem. If you get nothing else from this review I hope you realize that sometimes a restaurant needs a second look. Try Gavi, I'm sure you will enjoy it.

Frank and his staff are consummate professionals ! The dining experience and service is first class. The atmosphere embodies what an upscale Italian ristorante is all about. Whether you go there for something simple like a date night or hold your reception party there for a significant event you will not be disappointed. Every time I have went there it has been a 5 star experience all around.

I ordered the chicken scarp as did my husband.  It seemed to us that they made one order and divided between the two of us. It is pretty sad when you have to eat the bread after you finish your meal because you had insufficient food. Our friends even commented on our small portions.
