Stageplate Bistro Arlington

We came with our party and the situation was CLOSED...no note on people who are absent or anything, nothing noticed at the door, nothing. it was terrible not to mention embarrassing with people arriving and we were out in the rain. never will i ever ehr nor will i recommend!

The restaurant was closed on Saturday at 8 o'clock. has not heard anything from them that they were closed after my reservation. website does not seem to suggest that they are open.

This is one of our favorite spots. we love to sit at the bar and enjoy a small conversation with the owner mary and a quick visit to the chef nelly. Last night we eaten on the pizza and skipped our usual tasty roast calamari.

The positive is that the food was great. I was there with a group of 11 people for a business dinner and everyone's meals were good. They brought out our appetizers at all different times. They brought everyone's meals at different times so the ones who got their meals first had to eat freezing cold meals. They ran out of crab cakes and told us they'd do dual plates, but when the last person was served (30 minutes after the first person), she ordered crab cakes but they brought something else so we had to share our meals with her. It took almost 40 minutes for some people to get the first drink they ordered. They also ran out of Pinot Grigio and Sauvignon Blanc. Only white wine left in the restaurant was Chardonnay. Service was extremely slow. After meals were served, server never came back to check on us. I finally went over and asked for check without even giving anyone an opportunity to order dessert since we had already been there for three hours.

Service was very poor. It was clear that they were understaffed. It took close to an hour to get apps and another 20 minutes after that for our meals. We ended up taking our dessert to go because we didn’t want to be there anymore after 2 hours.
