Although I had to work on Christmas Eve, the staff at this restaurant were incredibly helpful and friendly. The manager, Corey, went above and beyond to make sure I had a great holiday meal. Despite never dining here before, I decided to try their Christmas dinner and was pleasantly surprised by how delicious it looked (I really don't enjoy cooking). Upon returning home, I noticed the pork lard on the green beans and realized that this was authentic Southern cooking. While this may be perfect for most of my family, as a vegetarian, I couldn't eat the vegetables or the peach cobbler (which typically contains animal shortening in Southern cuisine). Despite my oversight, Corey found a vegetarian option for me and even offered to comp it if I came to pick it up. I wanted to share my experience and express my gratitude for their kindness. I've been 3 times now all spaced several months apart and every time they've had amazing food and service. We have gotten chicken fried steak, chicken strips, burgers, mashed potatoes, fried okra, broccoli rice casserole, Mac and cheese and more and I have nothing bad to say about any of it. The service has been wonderful every time with friendly staff who are very attentive. Would recommend.

Excellent family style restaurant. Food was plentiful and delicious. Would return any time I could.
