This is just 5 minutes drive from the Cheese Museum and when we visited it was just occupied by locals although other tourists arrived later. We ate Chicken with Mushroom Sauce (9E) and Goat Stew (13E) (following the waitress' recommendation). We also had the chocolate dessert. The Chicken consisted of a large portion with slightly too much sauce covering it. The goat stew was superb (the meat tasted rather like a Lamb Shank, not too spicy). Chips were overcooked. Canarian Potatoes would have been a better accompaniment. If we had the dessert again we would share one as a full portion each was too much. An enjoyable experience and we were not rushed.
Bar in Antigua, nothing bad nothing great. All the food looks home made, portions are good and prices reasonable, an acceptable way to eat fast and cheap in Antigua.
If you have a visit to Antigua (cheese museum), this is a mandatory visit. Don’t create a bad impression for the external appearance, the food and the service is really really good, quality vs price. I recommend it to everyone.
