Casa Rio Tex Mex - Anoka

We were in town for the vintage market and stopped in for a **** Mary and lunch. Unfortunately, we were chased out by scary employee. It was a seat yourself situation. Two tables open both dirty so we sat at one of the tables. The rag and spray were at the table so we started wiping it down. We were in a good mood and it was not a problem. A mean lady in a hockey jersey grabbed the rag from me, the table isn’t clean because we are busy!” No worries we have time, just trying to ease the pain. She yelled at us again, rolled her eyes and stormed off. We were stunned. “Should we leave?” Neighboring tables agreed we shouldn’t stay. We were all kinda freaked out. We left. Still on the street deciding our next move, same mean lady stormed out the front door and yelled at a table full of people who were trying to raise the umbrella. I can’t imagine what her co-workers must go through. She should not be in hospitality. The joint was busy which is a good problem for a restaurant to have. But she was doing her damndest to drive customers away. First and last time in Anoka. She freaked us out

Food was good, but service was pretty slow. Would go again, probably just at a slower time of day.

My husband and I loved Casa Rio for dinners so we when we had to choose a wedding caterer it was a no brainer that we would chose Casa! The catering was phenomenal, they are so professional and efficient!! We had a wedding of 240 and they handled it perfectly. Jay (the owner) even scoped out the venue before to make sure they were prepared!! I would give them more than 5 stars if I could for both delish food and amazing catering!!!!

We’ve been here twice and love the food. The service is amazing too, very nice group of people!! The fajitas are sooo yummy and their margaritas are strong. You have to have the fried ice cream, it will make you happy. Molly is super nice, even though it was late, they did not rush us at all!

The food wasn’t the best. I’m used to REAL Mexican food. Not watered down Mexican food. I was looking for more of an authentic Mexican place. Wasn’t my favorite. I won’t return on taco Tuesday for anything other than COLLIN’s service maybe grab a few drinks. Thanks dude for the service you provided YOU’RE AWESOME.. hang loose
