La Rotonde des Tresoms - Annecy

My boyfriend and I (both working in hospitality in Switzerland) had an amazing night yesterday at the Rotonde restaurant. It all started with a very nice, tall, bold guy who explained us everything very slowely in French as we did not want to speak English....Once we had chosen our dishes it already started with 2 delicious snacks while we were trying to choose our wine. The sommeliere immediatly realised my struggle to decide between 3wines and came to help us. The wine she suggested was amazing. Fruity, mineralic yet fresh and was the perfect match to the variety of dishes we had. There is not much to say about the food as it was just amazing. There is only one little thing that could be improved: the main dish was not very warm, none the less was it delicious. When we left I was offered a little cake to take home with its recipe. As it was already quite late we asked the receptionist to order a taxi for us. Unfortunatly there were no taxis available and he even offered us to bring us home with his privat car as his shift was just about to be finished. It was an unforgettable evening and we will surely come back. But we will probably come back for lunch rather than dinner as it was already quite dark at dinner time and we could not really enjoy the view anymore. Thank you very much.

The sight.yes...the service..good..a high level i. restauration.. but..you can find better. ..not for the sight . even..i think of othet..4 stars restaurants.all aroud the lake..in annecy le vieux..menthon..talloire abobe all...

We were at the hotel Les Tresoms and decided to test their fine cuisine restaurant. We went for a 6 courses menu and really enjoyed the entire diner. Courses are very well presented and the ingredients of great quality. Highly recommended. I red some comments...which I have hard time to understand considering our own experience.

Very irregular quality, some dishes were very good, other very average. I found that for the price (menu entre mer et terre 79 euros drinks not included) the Rotonde du Trésoms is not worth.

Nous avons mangé dans la partie brasserie de l'hôtel, le serveur nous a installé à une table un peu branlante mais il semblait que c'était le cas pour les autres. Le service est rapide mais les serveurs en faisait un peu trop.Par rapport au standing du lieu, c'est un peu déstabilisant. Nous avons mangé correctement mais n'y avons pas vraiment pris de plaisir.
