Gordon Biersch Brewery Annapolis

The food and beer were both excellent at this restaurant. However, we were disappointed by the service as our dinners arrived just two minutes after our appetizer. We believe that they should allow more time to enjoy the appetizer before bringing out the main course. Overall, we gave them three stars for service.

We arrived early for our reservation at the restaurant. The unfriendly hostess remarked that we were early by 15 minutes, not hours. She suggested we sit at the bar, but we declined as we were planning to have dinner and preferred a table. She said she would be with us shortly. Despite the abundance of empty tables and her lack of distractions, after ten minutes we inquired if there was a reason for not being seated, to which she replied, "I have my reasons." Just as we were about to leave and go elsewhere, she finally seated us 15 feet away at one of the many empty tables. Our waitress, DAWN, was very friendly and efficient. In the future, when looking for a quick meal nearby, I will probably not consider returning to GB based on this experience. "I have my reasons," indeed. Neal.

The food at this restaurant is fantastic and the waiter provided excellent service. The ambiance may be a bit loud, but the overall experience is definitely worth it.

Great service! No problem doing separate checks for us. Food was mostly great. I tried the lobster and shrimp tacos. They were ok, but super small portion of lobster and tiny little shrimp. The fish tacos are much better.
