Wasabi - Ankeny

Food was great, service was great as well. We have a 2 year old that behaves well but still wasn't sure if she would fit in. A bit on expensive side or else I would go weekly. Even then If I didn't live 45 minutes away it would be worth a Saturday night mealVegetarian options: Many optionsKid-friendliness: Felt very welcomed and accepted. We were not sure but they went out of there way to help make the kiddo happy with little things that mattered. Half the tables had kids ranging from 2 to 12

Special rolls are a bit overrated but the atmosphere and service is great and always on top of it. Food came quick and was checked on frequently. Nice after work atmosphere but the music is kinda annoying in my opinion.

Service was amazing! I think our server was Morgan (could be remembering that wrong, but she was great! Food was fantastic and wait times were not long at all. Everyone was friendly and kind and very helpful.

Chris at the bar was too busy talking about shrooms and Colorado with patrons to even remotely consider other guests at the restaurant. I asked for an avocado salad and received something entirely different. Had to ask a different server to replace it. The food was really great. The chefs are spectacular and really create a sense of art in their dishes. This was my first time here and sadly, the bar service left much to be desired. Another server continued to complain throughout my meal that she hasn’t had any tables and how she was “fu**ing bored.” Quite disappointed that I had to hear so much negative and drug talk through my meal. I left around 5:05pm on 7/10/23

Excellent service, spicy egg drop soup, and hot sake! Both Chris behind the bar and Kaitlin taking care of tables were professional, pleasant, and made everyone feel welcome. I definitely recommend this restaurant!
