Bidrage med feedbackMy colleague and I were surprised to see that the restaurant was empty when we arrived at 7pm on a rainy Thursday night. However, we were greeted immediately by a friendly lady who suggested we sit under the heater, which was much appreciated. The menu featured a variety of Chinese, Vietnamese, and Thai dishes, although some traditional options were missing. We were intrigued by the Moreton Bay Bugs dish but decided not to try it. For starters, we ordered Chicken Sweetcorn Soup and Satays. The soup was average, with a strange yellow color and peas, which was unexpected. The satays, however, were delicious. For our main course, my colleague enjoyed the beef in black bean sauce and special fried rice. I tried the spicy seafood hot plate, which was fantastic. The ingredients were served on a hot plate at the table, allowing them to cook in front of us and stay hot longer. The wine selection was limited for a restaurant in the Barossa Valley, but I was able to find a good option. I would recommend bringing your own wine with a $10 corkage fee for serious wine enthusiasts. The decor was fresh and fitting, and the service was excellent. We both felt that the prices were slightly high, possibly due to recent increases in ingredient costs. Overall, we rated the service, value, food, and presentation a 4 out of 5.
The food was really good at this restaurant, which is still trying to make a name for itself. The decor is a bit simple, but the restaurant is popular and offers a lot of choices. I visited on 27/07/22 and tried their Quail appetizer, which was very enjoyable.
We have visited this restaurant twice and have been pleased with the food on both occasions. Our group received our meals promptly and we all left satisfied.
I had not been there for a while, we ordered take away and the food was fantastic and they were obliging to vary a dish to your taste..
A mix of Chinese Vietnamese cuisine. Very tasty. Good banquet on a Sunday night. Busy takeaway section also says a lot about the good menu.
