Bidrage med feedbackAlthough they had a nice menu of food, we stopped by once for ice cream and once for tea cocoa. Some of their ice creams are made by a local man so we chose from those. It was really good, but I cannot remember the names of the 3 different flavors we tried. The tea was great. Really hot and a large portion of loose tea in a string-less bag. Cocoa was good and hot with whipped cream on top. There wasn't a lot of seating and most people seemed to be getting orders to go. There were nice photos on the walls of Alaskan wildlife for sale. There were a few tables on the sidewalk outside. Everyone was very friendly.
The staff was very nice and let us come in right at closing to get some ice cream. The flavors were good, but the scoops were tiny even though they were extremely expensive.
On my last day in Anchorage, I looked at several restaurants downtown, and chose this one boy am I glad I did! I got the Alaska Breakfast eggs, hotcakes and reindeer sausage. Everything was cooked to perfection, and the hotcakes were probably the fluffiest I've ever had. Definitely the best breakfast/brunch I've had in YEARS. They also have ice cream and I couldn't resist; I got Alaska Blueberry, which was wonderful. Good prices, and excellent food. Wish I'd found this place earlier on my trip!
We were looking for a place to have some coffee and breakfast and came upon this place it was quite spacious very homey feeling inside my wife and I both had stackers and coffee and everything was piping hot and absolutely excellent for us this is the place to have breakfast in Anchorage
On jury duty and needed a place for some respite. I've lived in ANC for 8 years and just discovered this place. The service is spot on. Friendly, accommodating, with good tunes playing overhead. What kept me coming back throughout the week was the prices. Breakfast bagel (served all day) with egg, meat and cheese for 6 bucks! You can't find much in downtown ANC for breakfast, that is tasty and fast, for that price. I hope they are busy, busy, busy, this summer because folks from the Captain Cook, Hilton and surrounding hotels should skip the hotel breakfast and head to Moose A'la Mode.
