Pammel Grocery - Ames

My husband and I tried the Deli! I was thrilled to find Ayran in the store (drinking yogurt blue/green yogurt with mint). I ordered a chicken kebab dinner, it came with deliciously seasoned rice and sauce for the grilled chicken pieces. My husband said his Shawarma was well fed and delicious! We had no time/room for baklava, but we will return safely.

I can't say anything bad here. It's authentic. We tried all desserts. The almond Baklava is still my favorite. They are definitely made at home and delicious. The lady brings her fresh as we take her. The deli Desserts will take us shopping. What else attracted me was their large selection of rice and various flavored Naan bread.

I hope heaven has an international or ethnic-specific grocery store. Pammel Deli is one of my lucky places. The food is great and cheap. The owners are beautiful people. The vibes are here. I always come to the Samosas.

Is it the best halal food you'll ever have? No. But in a city like on the way like Ames it's great to have a place like a hard-working family grill that can give everyone a try as the food is. Good respect.

My husband and I both enjoyed the food from the diner and we were pleased with the variety of groceries. Truly enjoyed my greek salad and Baklava! But what really stood out was Ahmed?s kind, endearing conversation and warm welcome. The atmosphere in the dining part is casual unpretentious. My favorite place to get food!
