Flip'n Jacks Pancake House Eatery

Only 2 servers but those guys were moving! A little wait but it gave us time to really look at the menu, so much to choose from. My husband had pancakes and I had the Cluck Click Skillet with the side of biscuits and gravy. The food was excellent, my sunny side up eggs were perfection and absolutely the best biscuits and gravy I've had forever. We'll be back tomorrow.

Breakfast was ok. Nothing special at all. Food was average. I've been there twice now and I could find somewhere else better for the money I paid.

Was on a work trip and needed some lunch. The food was incredible, our waiter was gracious and timely, and the restaurant was well kept and decorated nicely. I'm definitely recommending to all my family and friends passing through Des Moines on I35!

ON THE BORDER SKILLET Was delicious. I was able to have two meals from the serving. I will definitely be back.

Came here on a Sunday afternoon after church, best atmosphere in ames. Great service, even better food. I had the tres leches pancakes with a side of eggs and house potatoes. All of it was splendid. Would come back. I don’t know what was sweeter the pancakes or Alvaro! he was so helpful and kind! He definitely has a bright future ahead of him!
