Cafe, Panes y Pasteles De Tenango

We stayed in Ameca on Sunday and were looking for a place to eat we found this restaurant and decided to go there. It was dining room hour so the restaurant was a little crowded and had to wait to get table, aprox 20 min. The environment is really pleasant and decoration is after the age of the place. Food is very good and very cheap, we ate 3 people for 20 dls Aprox including desserts. I recommend the coffees and crepes and arroz con leche. Not sure if credit cards were accepted, we used cash. Did not eat the bread, but it seems great to be hope to taste it

The apple pastry is very unique, it is like a whole apple packed in cake crust. The chocolate cake was also very good. Coffee is robust and well prepared. Great.

The apple pastry is very unique - it's like an entire apple wrapped in pie crust. The chocolate cake was also very good. Coffee is robust and well prepared. Great all around spot.
