Keizo - Álvaro Obregón

I went to Keizo with a friend for lunch. The restaurant was quite empty and we were asked if we want to eat Tappanyaki. The quality of the food was good, although the waiter forgot to bring us our fried rice even after we reminded him to do so. Before paying the bill (!) the waiter asked us if we dont want to have any sushi as there was a 2for1 special that day. We were a bit disapointed to be asked this before paying and not while ordering the meals...

Incredible sushi and friendly staff. All the dishes are good and they have Japanese drinks which are fun to taste. The prices are quite ok for the received quality. A must for sushi lovers. The terrace area is cool

The place is nice and service is excellent as long as the place is not full, otherwise your server will be busy attending some other table. Food quality is between mediocre and whatever, and quite expensive in regard to quality. If you have money to spend and don't care that much about what you eat I guess it's an ok place to visit.

This is a relatively new restaurant by the time of this writing. It's definitely hidden away but worth the visit. I loved the small and tight menu. The food was excellent. I'm not really one for fusion food; I like food that's "pure" and true to its roots. Somehow, however, the chef here was able to pull off an incredible fusion of Japanese and Mexican flavored. It was that good. Each dish I tasted was excellent; from appetizers to dessert. Go and taste for yourself.

If you are looking for traditional Japanese meal, this is not your place. Keizo its a fusion of Jap-Asian-Mexican food which attracts the locals and its a quite popular formula even that has nothing to do with Japanese food. Despite of that, the quality and overall flavors is good.The ambiance is really nice, you can choose to be seated at the restaurant or the Teppanyaki tables, which everything is nicely performed. The service is quite good as well.In sum, Keizo is way much better compared to the chain-Japanese restaurants and you will end paying pretty much the same.
