Bidrage med feedbackI was pleasantly surprised at how good the food was. I just moved to N.H. 2 months ago and have really missed Chinese food. I came from the Peabody Ma. area where there is very good Chinese food .The food here is as good as back home .
The last stop on the Girls Winnie Weekend lake tour didn't disappoint! We were seated at a socially distanced table inside, food was excellent and it was packaged like takeout for safety precautions. Plates, cutlery and sauces are available to dine in. The Moo Goo Gai Pan was light and fresh, meaty chicken fingers had just the right amount of breading, the egg rolls were stuffed to perfection, and the small PuPu exceeded expectations! French fries were an add on and were cooked just right. Our cocktails hit the spot and were served in plastic with freshly cut fruit. Clear plastic separates the bar area from dining and it's done in a way that minimally impacts the ambiance. A large floor to ceiling window connects the interior to the outdoor deck area for added light and fresh air circulation. Thank you to Mary and her team for making us feel welcome, safe and appreciated. We will be back!
Honestly, I didn't hold out hope that there would be a good Chinese restaurant on the lake, close to boating. BOY WAS I WRONG! Delicious food, nice atmosphere, ample parking, walking distance to boat dock in Alton Bay, friendly staff! Their gluten free menu has us going back for more, as kiddo is gluten free, and doesn't get sick after eating it. Highly recommend.
Having seen great reviews on Everything Lake Winnipesaukee on Facebook, we had to try it. We made a reservation and had outdoor seating. My wife and 3 adult children found everything to our liking. Our waitress Jen was very personable and engaging. Unfortunately because of covid-19 we had plastic forks, plastic cups, and the food was served in take out containers, but we went for the food and it was great. I shared my Dragon Phoenix Special order and they said I ordered the best.i highly recommend JP China and we will definitely be back again. P.S. We came from Wolfeboro where they have 2 Chinese restaurants.
Weird experience tonight. I tried to call an order in she asked for my phone number, confirmed my first name, and then asked for my last name which is a little odd. I started with a combo plate which on the menu says is available all day. I was told they haven 't offered those for several months. I decided to then go to the restaurant and dine in. The outdoor signs were confusing, but there were people in and outside the bar area so I figured I 'd be ok. Went inside and it was weird the place was wrapped in plastic. On the way in there was also a sign that said they offered a small 2% discount for cash orders and in parenthesis it said because the credit card fees are getting ridiculous. A little off putting, and if your cc fees are ridiculous it 's because your making money, it should be commensurate with your gross revenues. Anyhow, the lady asked if I called is and I said no i wanted to place an order. She said ohhhh we aren 't taking anymore orders. I was like huh? Yeah our board is full and the kitchen is slammed. Mind you there weren 't that many people there, and there was no hustle and bustle coming from the kitchen. She did offer me a menu for next time and suggested I call in early to order. Not for nothing, she was going to take my order over the phone literally 5 minutes ago. What changed in 5 minutes? I completely understand Covid has messed with businesses, but come on we 've been back open for a few months now, and this had nothing to do with Covid. Just a weird experience, so anyway I 'm now in tilton waiting on my $143 dollar order of Chinese food and ticked off I had to go to tilton and couldn 't get my order 5 minutes from my house.
