This was by far the worst hibachi place I’ve ever been to, primarily because the service is terrible. We waited over 30 minutes to even get someone to come to our table and another 30 minutes and we finally got our soup. After about 90 minutes, a chef finally came to our table. There was no “show” either, he just cooked. Throughout our entire meal, our server never came back for refills on any drinks or to see if we needed anything. We always had to get up and ask someone. The only reason I gave 2 stars instead of one was because the food was decent, similar to other hibachi places. Nothing special but not bad. Also if you have someone who is handicap, be warned. They are NOT handicap accessible. The elevator is broken and based on other reviews I’ve now seen, it’s been broken for many months. It doesn’t seem like they plan on fixing it. If you’re looking for a great hibachi meal, I highly recommend just about any other place. Maybe there you will get decent service and it won’t be overpriced. This is my family’s favorite place to go for Hibachi and top 2-3 restaurants overall. I’ve been eating here for more than 20 years for date nights, birthdays, and celebrations, the place is always fantastic. Great staff, wonderful maître d’, and phenomenal food. And the atmosphere is fun and exciting. I’ll be adding pictures to this post soon. If I could, I’d give this place 6 stars! Parking: Never had a problem parking here! Always plenty of spaces even when the restaurant appears full. Kid-friendliness: The staff of so friendly and inviting, they cater to kids and put in an extraordinary show for them. They will do a smaller volcano if any children have a fear of fire works or excites easily. Wheelchair accessibility: Using the ramps and elevators here is easy and can easily be navigated by a person with an aid assisting them. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $30–50 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes: Hibachi Sukiyaki Steak, Hibachi Vegetable, Seaweed Salad, Miso Soup, Hibachi Seafood, Scallop Hibachi, Hibachi Fried Rice, Green Tea Ice Cream Recommendation for vegetarians Highly recommend Vegetarian offerings Large vegetarian selection, Vegetarian menu or section Parking space Plenty of parking Parking options Free parking lot
Our hibachi experience here didn't quite live up to our expectations. It felt like they were aiming for a more upscale atmosphere, but the restaurant itself seemed a bit outdated, with a non-functioning elevator (which didn't affect us but did impact other parties). The hibachi shows were somewhat repetitive; our chef had just performed the same routine at the table right in front of us. It would have been nice to see some variety or have the chefs switch tables to enhance the experience. Unfortunately, there was minimal direct interaction with our table. The waitstaff appeared somewhat inattentive, and when we asked for our waiter, we felt brushed off. On a positive note, the food was delicious, and we have to give credit for that. The kids did enjoy themselves, especially since we were celebrating a 10th birthday, but it's uncertain whether we'll return for another visit. Food: 4 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 3
We came for my nephew's birthday. Food was excellent. Not happy with a rushed service and with not disclosing their tip policy on menu.
