The customer service is very low but the rooms are quite spacious although the cleaning was not adequate. Firstly, the front desk people were really unhelpful and unwelcoming from the start. That should be an absolute priority when you enter the hotel. We asked for a car hire and nobody knew how to help us or even give the smallest amount of advice. I had called the day before to ask about a taxi service and was given the wrong number. The staff gave me the number for the Amsterdam taxi service. The staff could not even list or mention a single car service in town. They acted aloof and juvenile. We sat in the dining area and nobody came to wait on us. We never knew if it was self service or not? All of that should have been explained at check-in and nothing left for us to question. The location is very convenient only for car travelers. It is over 15 min walk to the nearest bus that takes you into the center of Almere. There is only one restaurant nearby and no small convenient stores. The cleaning was not sufficient in the bath. There was clumps of hair from the previous guest all over the shower wall.
