I had tom yum suppe. it missed the brand by little lemongrass, lime leaves and other strong seasoned. I don't care, especially when I order a seafood soup. a real tom yum will mask most fishy tastes. my main course was horse meat medallions. they were fantastic. my server was much better in English than he gave himself credit. I told him that my tank was almost empty, so we agreed to refuel various vodkas, bourbons, red bull and coffee. so ordered drinks felt 10 years younger. I managed to make it through the live band performance. they were great. a thing I find very strange is that they have a strange obsession with the rolling stones. all TV screens played rolling stones for 4 hours. at this point, the 4 hour repetition of the show becomes unobtrusive iconography. stop the rolling stones fetish. I speak different languages, but zero Russian. I didn't even have the opportunity to practice because the trip was booked 3 days before. not many guests were good in English, but they were happy to communicate with me. very nice people here in almaty.
A British restaurant bar in almaty with a mix of local and global oriented. enojable experience, our waitress was helpful.
It was a nice evening! great music performance, good snacks (bäck chips were brilliant,) selection of beer.
The administrator lady is very rude. She goes to kitchen without uniform. We tried to ask her why but the answer was: It is not your bussiness. The vodka quality is very bad (we had Beluga on friday).
My new favorite place in almaty. the best I had in almaty was the live band excellent. easy communication with the personal. I couldn't recommend a place about it in almaty.
