Smokin G's Catering - Alma

I called on short notice for them to cater a meal for 30 people. They made it easy and it was delicious! Gary arrived with the food on time despite not having power and having to drive through a storm! We were very thankful for his kind and professional attitude as well as the great food and service!

We had them for our wedding and the food was amazing!! We did the pulled pork, chicken, and brisket with cheesy potatoes (everyones fav), salad, and baked beans. The owner is super sweet and was incredibly helpful on our wedding day.

The food was really good. I got the full order of biscuits and gravy. My wife got the half order. My mom got the apple cinnamon scone and my dad got the sausage breakfast burrito. Not many food options at Lake Wabunsee. Especially, breakfast options. The only other food options are The Lodge/Wild Olives or if you go into town. By going into town you would have to go to maybe Wamego, Topeka or Manhattan. The food is reasonably priced. I think we spent maybe 12 dollars for all the breakfast food. So it's priced really well. They want you to place your order the night before because they start prepping the night before. But when I picked up food they had a family of 4 walk up and order. So. I think they probably make extra of stuff. I still recommend ordering the night before if possible to make sure. Unless you like to walk on the wild side. They serve various bbq on the weekends. Like ribs and stuffed chicken or pork and deserts. Haven't tried the bbq but I highly recommend the breakfast.
