Bertie's - Allerdale

We were staying at Stanwick holiday park thought we would give it a go When we ordered fish and chips was told no fish then we ordered sausage and chips when we got back to caravan to enjoy our meal hugs guess what no chips do they just make orders up as they like will most certainly not be back or recommend it to others

Been here twice this week the first time it was absolutely beautiful, couldn 't wait to come back. So went back tonight and it was like going to a different place. We made the exact same order and paid the same price, however this time the cod bites were a quarter of the size they were the first time and were over cooked, in my cheesey chips 5 of my chips had cheese on. Very disappointed.

Stayed at the stanwix and Bertie’s is just down the road , good staff and good chips , only let down was wanting Pizza but non on the day , but still very nice

When to berties fish and chips and pizza shop excellent service friendly shop extremely excellent food nicest we had in a long time well worth a look we will be back give it a try you won't be disappointed pizzas are to die for good all round under new management both sides fish and chips and pizza shop excellent

Enjoyed fish and chips from Berties. I've never had a fish so big, it had to be folded in half to fit it in the tray. Cooked very well and good chips also.
