El Taco Mexicano - Alice

The food was excellent, but the prices were too high compared to other restaurants nearby and next door.

The tacos are great because they are large, but I ordered a bean and bacon taco with extra refried beans and they were burnt and not to my liking. I returned another day and requested the same thing, specifically asking for them not to be burnt. Unfortunately, this time the beans were not refried at all. It seems that the restaurant does not know how to properly prepare refried beans. I wished I could show them how to make them correctly.

This restaurant in Alice, TX has the largest tacos in town! Amazing!

Good food. Chicharon a la mexicana is more egg than chicharon though. You're best bet is the carne guisada, tender and lots of meat.
