Bidrage med feedbackCalle Castanos is a busy street full of restaurants mostly catering to a younger Spanish clientele. But La Tagliatella is a slightly more traditional proposition. I went twice during my stay had an excellent pizza the first time, thin and crispy crust topped with a tasty tomato sauce and decent Mozerella. I had pasta the second time: again, fresh ingredients and a decent sized portion. The Rioja is very good, too. Reasonably priced: for 1 person, a main, two glasses of red wine and a 75l of water came to approx £20.
Maybe this restaurant was earlier an English pub judged from interior, but now it has got a marvellous Italian kitchen. The service is fast and kind although English (or Spanish dependent on which way you see it) language is a problem but everything is working you get what you need. The price level is good, food (pizzas and salads) are tasty and wines fine but cheap.
What a waste!! Arrived and were instantly judged by the waiter that we did not speak good Spanish, and throughout he was rude and dismissive of our presence. The carbonara was overpriced and tasted like noodles from a packet. Service was quick and from this we gathered it was not freshly made. Would not recommend at all. Don’t waste your money on this place.
