Vola's Dockside Grill - Alexandria

Food and service were very good. only one head up, there is a “helps” there area with zero ambiente. my dining room partner thought it was good, so we stayed, but I thought it was similar to a beautiful work caféteria. other diners came into the room and decided immediately to wait for either a table in the main restaurant or simply to walk. we stayed this time, but I won't be when I return.

The manager Phillip and our server Kamiyah D. Made our anniversary super incredible. It was the last day of our anniversary trip out here to DC from Orlando Florida. and we came out to Vola’s to enjoy Alexandria as well, and they went above and beyond. They really made my gf feel special and she told me that as well after we left. That was enough for me to want to recognize them for their awesome service. Not only did they congratulate us for our anniversary, the manager Phillip came up to us and chatted with us, made sure we were doing great, and then proceeded to check up on us a few more times. Kamiyah also brought us a couple glasses of champagne to celebrate at no charge and just was a lovely individual who had a great and sweet demeanor, fantastic suggestions on the menu and was just genuinely awesome! It really made us want to come back in the future when we come back up from Orlando Florida. We had a great time and I made sure I took care of Kamiyah as well. It was just a nice experience and honestly we really did appreciate their attention to detail for us. We went to a few fine dine places in the city and were not treated nearly as well as we were at Vola’s. Go visit this location and these individuals and you’ll have a fantastic time. Oh and on top of everything, the food, DELICIOUS!!!!!!

Great meal and service. The crab cakes were all a big hit. Both the crab hush puppies and the jalapeño cheddar puppies were amazing!

This is a MUST any time we visit the area. The crab hush puppies are incredible and our server, Dalton was superb!

The service is great, the food was delicious and the background music I loved and the dockside view was exceptional.
