Bidrage med feedbackWe had a great time! we were past a walk through the old town and knew we wanted to come here to celebrate something nice. I celebrated my graduation and was not disappointed. penny was a joy and gave us a great history of the place, its family and a look in family recipes. would definitely recommend and will be back soon. the house wines, moussaka and the brot were especially great.
We had a great time to celebrate a family birthday: delicious eating, amazing cocktails and the most impressive service during these difficult times, especially for a small family business. will definitely be back to support them!
This is now my favorite restaurant. There are many options to please every palate, including picky eaters. My favorite dishes were the artichoke, shrimp with garlic, and baklava, which was one of the best I've ever had. Everything was incredibly delicious and the service was excellent. We dined with our niece and the staff were patient and friendly. I can't wait to come back and try another dish.
The bread and olive oil was not warm and also not good. The food, Vaso's shrimp, was not bad but not as good as I was hoping. Overall I was not impressed which was sad I specifically came back to King Street to try this place.
Vaso's has been a beloved restaurant in Alexandria for many years. We frequently make the trip from outside of Philadelphia to dine here. Vaso's offers a unique Mediterranean/Italian cuisine that pleases all of its guests. During our recent lunch visit, everything was exceptional. I indulged in a special cocktail, the rice pudding martini, which was both creamy and delicious. Our meals were served hot and promptly by our friendly and attentive server. The Saganaki Caesarea, a tableside favorite, featured crispy and salty cheese that was irresistible. The must-have Avgolemeno soup, a classic Greek dish made with chicken, lemon, and orzo, was silky, creamy, and packed with flavor. Another highlight was the gyro sandwich, which was generously filled with traditional gyro meat, fresh vegetables, and tzatziki sauce. Priced at $13.00 with fries included, it was a great value. With other meat options available, Vaso's is a must-try for anyone in the area.
