I had the opportunity to make several breakfasts and snacks in this pastry shop (local in Via Padre Meroni) during the last year. The place is generally full, so especially in peak times you could do a little queue to find a place or at least you could perceive a sense of confusion, which I think is normal as the local is not particularly wide (at least, it is long and tight). In summer, outdoor tables are available, which in winter are closed, thus obtaining an additional indoor room. I have always found good products, fresh brioches (at different hours of the morning) and the girls of the staff always friendly and helpful. Last but not least, an important detail: the pastry shop has a large parking right in front, which makes it even more accessible.
Traditional pastry shop for those who love pastries and a certain way a little bit backward to understand the premises. Not that it is bad, let us mean: we found good brioches, in which we felt both the butter and the correct leavening. We stayed in the town center.
I'm saying smart because this morning we got the brioches of the day before, if not even two days before. They boast so much of having the pastry that supplies fresh things every day and instead if they have the leftovers they put them without shame. What a pity! Then while I was there, it was 9, 30, the suppliers arrived with fresh brioches. But at least you have to make them arrive before the opening and not in the morning already forwarded.. . We pointed it out, but the waitress insisted on teasing us to tell us they were fresh. Come on, they were cold instead! All three of our brioches. They can't stand behind the influx of people coming, not even the green pass asked us inside where we were sitting. Mha! !
The courtesy has never been at home so nothing surprising. I ordered a soy cap and sent it back twice after a quick sip as the milk was old and tangled. I ordered a coffee because now I had the briosh at the table and I didn't want to risk drinking that brode again. At the time of the account was charged €1.90 of soy cap in addition to the rest. (So it's my fault that the product was unpreserved? There is to say that briosh is good but not enough to return. I have no words if not so much greetings, the briance is full of bars and bartenders smiling and capable.
