Venice Pizza Bar & Restaurant - Albany

Food was absolutely delicious. The ambience was amazing. Just one thing about a lady who was serving us being so judgmental while i was talking to my brother. Her look ruined our evening. Please it’s a genuine request try to mind your own business. Everyone else was nice Food: 5 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 5

When we entered the restaurant, we had the impression that we had entered chaos. Very noisy with a lot of lights which does not befit a restaurant for formal dining. Tables for two are two steps away from the takeaway section, so there is no chances of intimacy. The staff is quite unfriendly, and the reason I would say is that 3 girls also serve the guests in the restaurant and take care of the takeaway orders. We were told to wait if we wanted a table, and there were some available but with leftovers from the previous dinner, we should wait. After 6-7 minutes of waiting, during which no one approached us to tell us how much longer we had to wait, we left the restaurant. The impression is that the waitresses were relieved when they saw that we left.

Booked table for 1900, arrived about 1850 to be told by rude girl to wait as they cleaning our table. OK. But at 1905 I approached her again to ask for our table and she addressed me with Hi how can I help you . I was about to explode. I told her again that we booked the table for 1900 and that now is 1905 and she started to arguing with me that the time is 1903 not 1905!!! When my wife mentioned to her that we were waiting for quite long and that she told us that our table getting ready as we speak, the same girl replied, very rude I would say, do you wish to be seated or not after which weleft restaurant. Probably the worst hospitality experience since we arrived in WA 15 years ago. First time in Albany, first dinner booking and absolutely fiasco. One star is way to many for those cowboys.
