I got the steak with pepper sauce. I wish the sauce had more pepper in it, and the steak was cooked a little over medium, though it was still a great meal Worth stopping in and the staff are nice and friendly. Id definitely return in the future Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

From the friendly service to the food our experience was exceptional. Really friendly staff, the atmosphere was homely but classy. Our food was tasty and fresh. I had the seafood chowder and I can honestly say it was the best seafood chowder I have ever had. Just wish we were staying longer because I'd order it again!!! Five stars all round. Cooks clearly care about their food here! Didn't go in expecting too much but we were served a lovely breakfast. Very happy to see they even made the waffles fresh when so many places now use pre-packaged waffles. Restaurant presented well and was nice, clean and quiet. Staff were also lovely! Did you judge Ryan's because it's attached to a motel? Well, you're wrong. The restaurant is classy and the food is exceptional. Every bit as good as a top restaurant in a capital city. Meals were a little slow on a quiet night but service was otherwise friendly. Prices are fairly high but easily justified by the quality and generous portions. Plus the chips are amazing.
