Panera Bread - Albany

I visited the restaurant today and ordered chicken soup along with a chicken salad sandwich. I usually stick to my usual favorites, but trying something new was a pleasant surprise. The staff was excellent, especially the front cashier who was very helpful and knowledgeable in assisting me with my order. The cooks did a fantastic job as well, with the food being hot and delicious. Thank you to the ladies at the restaurant for a wonderful dining experience.

I am giving this restaurant a one-star rating just so I can leave a review. A couple of years ago, I ordered an arugula salad to go from here and found that the bottom of the salad had rotten leaves. I reported this to the county health department but never received any feedback. Last night, I was at Albany Med ER across from Panera and it was after 8pm and we were very hungry. I ordered two sandwiches from Panera - the turkey sandwich was almost empty and the tuna sandwich had no flavor. The bread was dry and tasteless, like eating stale bread. I believe they stay in business because people at the ER have no other nearby options for food.

We arrived at the restaurant around 10:30 am only to find that they had run out of latte. I was disappointed that we had to heat up our cinnamon roll in the microwave ourselves. However, we decided to have an Asian salad for lunch while waiting for a relative to come out of surgery at Albany Med. The salad was delicious, with great flavor, good chicken, and a fantastic dressing.

We had good experiences with fresh, delicious food and friendly service from this place. The motivation for today's review is, however, a very friendly manager who is committed to fixing a contract changer. I was very moved by his willingness to go the extra mile. Thank you. Jay Ryan!

They lived up to their name Panera. I just bought coffee here and it was okay after my preference. I had better, but it was worse. If you are critical about your coffee, you do not expect coffee. It was a bit weak for my pleasure, but I'm sure I'm just perfect for someone else.
