Bidrage med feedbackWe came to this place by chance for something to eat before attending a 69th Party. We found the service to be friendly and very good. Two of us had the Carbonara for which was the best one tasted for along while. The other two guest had Chicken with fungi and breaded chicken with tomato spaghetti... Both enjoyed their meal also. The price was found to be reasonable compared to surrounding places. There was a little mix up with the final bill... For which I was honest.. Charged for 1 bottle of wine and two glasses instead of two bottles.. During this climate many may note have question this but because of the excellent meal we pointed out the error.. Highly recommended!
Food was cold. Lamb was so disgusting had to take some out of my mouth it was so chewy and awful. Dessert was tasteless. Even the cappuccino coffee tasted dreadful how's that possible ??!! Then the waiter was blowing out the candles on the tables at 9pm so thought it was hint for us to leave .... Absolutely dreadful experience. Never again
Great food, excellent quality. We were a table of 4 that had risotto, pasta, pizza and chicken, and all were delicious. Not a huge amount of options for vegetarians though.
Firstly, the service was lovely, atmosphere great, and non vegans were well catered for. We had a group booking, with 1 long term vegan and 1 vegetarian, and the opinions for both of us was limited, but as a vegan, I really struggled. In 2022, all restaurants really do need to cater to a growing dietary requirement. Especially as it’s was VEGANUARY! When I asked for a vegan menu, I got a verbal run through of the menu telling me what they could veganise. Firstly, I couldn’t order a drink, because there were no vegan opinions other than soda, which I won’t drink. I had the opinions of pasta in tomato sauce, margarita pizza, (which are both a cop out) and a mushroom risotto, or salad, where things were left off. Or finally (the only option really) the pizza photographed, (the photo looks better than it was). I had asked for some mushrooms to be added, but they were missed off in the kitchen. Dessert opinion was only sorbet- which again is a complete cop out. So I went without dessert, but the final kicker was that I couldn’t even get a coffee at the end of the meal, because they don’t have plant based milks, any!? If it hadn’t been for the fact I was a part of a larger group evening, I would not have stayed. I felt I was a complete after thought. I won’t be back, after that experience.
We had a late lunch here on Christmas Eve with our family. The atmosphere was festive; all the food was exceptionally good and the service was friendly and welcoming. It is so good to eat at a genuine Italian restaurant. Thank you Brio.
