Deffinatly worth a visit, well decorated, and food delicious at reasonable price especially if you go for 2 or 3 courses. If I was being picky is we went around 4 pm on a Saturday and it was quiet and they put up upstairs, which seemed for function or bigger groups which I didn't understand apart from that good place to visit. Great service throughout the night. The staff were always close by to make sure everything was fine. Food was excellent at a reasonable price. First time here loved it.staff were very attentive and pleasant. The food was superb set menu 3 courses great value everything freshly made.special shout out for the haggis and mushrooms starter as a Scotsman was just like being at home lovely. This is our local restaurant our go to for a meal out. Said to my hubby today I want to go to somewhere different. So we went to a high class restaurant in the ribble valley high end cars on Car park very posh. They had a set menu £45 for two courses half in menu had a supplement! it was very nice but the food at the Plough was far better and superior, so if you want high class food at an affordable price the Plough is your go to. And I will always going back to the Plough.
