Bidrage med feedbackDelicious food. upscale atmosphere. basic midday specialties. a beautiful place also for a delicious dessert.
Excellent food and friendly service. we ordered the tenderloin medallions with garlic potatoes, the black reddish, and the waygu zartloin with truffle butter and fried wobble. everything was fresh and delicious.
The atmosphere gets a perfect 10. this is a relaxed but upscale land west restaurant. wear their strength jeans or Sunday best. either there is an experience here that everyone has to live at least twice. eating everything is a-la-cart so that they can adjust their dinner. steaks are cooked exactly as they order, so they do not grump or send it for a redo. the money worth. (be prepared to pay about $30 per person. the personal comes back very quickly. When I heard it was my birthday, the manager presented me with the best happy birthday chocolate cake ever! oh my gott! they have children's menus, large parking space, wheelchair reserved places right in front. the dining room/bar area is to the right when it enters first and is also decorated up. the outside area is hot or cold open. I was there during a cold snap and it actually made it more romantic. a beautiful dame singed at the outer piano/bar area. So for a funny night or date night or simply to get away tag, copper creek is the best jewel in this district.
My sisters and I visited the restaurant copper creek this afternoon. this is one of the really higher end restaurants in abilene. the outside of the restaurant is very beautiful looking and was clean. if they pierce the two burg like doors, they enter into a hunter paradise. leather and taxidermy animals everywhere with a huge kamin in the middle. we were immediately greeted by a well-dressed employee. our drinks were quickly released with the exception of my topo chico. when it finally came, it was poured into a weinglas on the table side. we started with the goat cheese jalapeño poppers. O.M.G so good. prices up there with one of the best appetizers we ever tasted. the goat cheese, speck and perfectly cooked jalapeño was silky smooth, crisp and slightly warm from the pfeffer. a must try when they visit here. here is where there is a lot of conflict in the meal we order. we all ordered the chicken steak meal. a pickled ribey that was baked and fried. it was served with kartoffels and a beautiful gravy. both my sisters were worshipped by their meal. they loved the super crispy teig and perfect kartoffels with perfect gravure. on the other hand, I was not so obsessed with my meal. I felt that my much too salty and much too much bread. I've taken away everything and eaten the steak that was left. I wasn't even impressed by the steak. the smeared red kartoffels were great and this gravy was phenomenal. I guess it was a perfectly made bechamel sauce. I could eat that every day. one of my sisters ordered several drinks and while they were strange pairings of crawling and alcohol it was good. the service and the atmosphere were raised and amazing. Except for me, it was not very good to please the chicken fried steak. I couldn't give it five stars, but it was a high end four.
