Bidrage med feedback8 of us had an early evening meal at this Inn and were delighted with every aspect of the meal. The order for drinks was taken swiftly and followed within minutes. Having ordered our starters main courses we were given a courtesy appetizer. The starters were very well presented. After these we were given courtesy cider and mango sorbet drinks before our main courses arrived. The sweet and coffees etc were ordered together and again did not dissappoint especially the lemon cheesecake. The staff could not have been better so if you are in the area, this Inn is one I would highly recommend but do not confuse it with a nearby hotel with a similar name as you could be dissappointed. I was traveling for work and stopped in to watch the football game. Every wall had televisions showing different games and they served a great pint as well. 5 stars!
I agree with the previous comment that seems to have a personal dislike of the owner. We stopped in after traveling from Aviemore to visit friends at Hotel Kintore Arms. The previous reviewer was right about the smell upon entering, but I believe the kitchen ventilation needs to be opened or cleaned. The food was okay, but not anything special. My partner was quite happy with their meal. Not the best restaurant, but decent pub food with reasonable service. It could be better under new and determined ownership.
Probably the worst pub in northeast Scotland for food. It is second-rate and if it can't be heated or deep-fried, it's not on the menu! The place stinks, and when I say stinks, it's so bad that you have to wash your clothes as soon as you get home. The main man, or so he thinks, is Gordon. Gordon used to be the kind of guy who would develop a beer belly, but unfortunately, he lost his personality on the Cambridge diet. He's a sickly-looking person with the inability to smile and a very prominent set of man boobs! Hopefully, the place is up for sale and someone will buy it, and at least paint the damn place! The ceiling hasn't been painted since before the smoking ban!
