Formartine's - Aberdeenshire

For the first time visiting the weekend. Tried the take away menu, my wife and I got a hot dog for £10 (now) and I can honestly say it was a massive disappointment! Wild over price for what a 'ok 'laden hot dog with a small piece of salad on the side. Sitting in the car in the parking lot tried to eat this was quite overwhelming. I totally understand that the companies are trying to manage the hardest in this disturbing world, we are now in, but calculating these prices is just a joke. Everyone to his own, maybe some people have the extra money (to overload) at the moment, but I can't imagine we're not going back here anymore.

The restaurant is very pricey and the cakes are not all large.

Enjoyed a tranquil walk around Formartines... so enjoyed a delicious Chocolate n Cranberry scone with a coffee.. takeaway available

I enjoyed a delicious hot dog from the drive-thru today. I highly recommend it, as the food is always prepared with care, making it exceptional!

Great food, well stocked farm shop and a nice walk around the lake.
