Zuuma - Aalesund

Tasty Japanese kitchen with modern feel in alesund. we ordered the 36 biter sashimi, which was nothing special, but fresh and well decorated with the piece teriyaki sauce. the futomaki we ordered was great. from the grill we had the delicate and healed – with a unique twist in the Japanese kitchen. hummus adds a beautiful taste and the dumplings filled with rich mushrooms. great experience!

Maybe the best sushis I've had so far. fish are incredibly well prepared and freshly fresh. service is great, we came with a baby and we were perfectly placed to disturb the people, the service or us. they speak fluent English and even French. if well placed, you can enjoy a beautiful view with sunset. thanks for this delicious dinner.

Great sushi place in ålesund. of beautiful fresh sashimi, nitriri and sushi cuts, combine traditional salmon, thun fish in direction halibut garnelen creations. let them surprise them with some fishing opportunities. service is really good, friendly and polite. what is a bit expensive (or because they remember! everything and everything is a great choice to eat in the city.

Basically, the food was good, but the price-performance ratio was not quite right. For 1000 NOK we had the Zuumase platter for 2 people with just 32 pieces. Octopus was much too firm and the outer skin was unfortunately inedible and wobbly. Overall good quality but not stunning. Unfortunately, there is hardly any choice for vegetarians, ice tea is placed on the table in plastic bottles, a glass of Chablis for 160 NOK which evaporates faster than you can drink, the food came after more than 45 minutes and the service was unfortunately not really attentive either.
