My 2nd time coming here and this is definitely my favorite Mexican spot in the area! Food is phenomenal, dessert is delicious, even the coffee is good! Last time I came I believe I had the camarones al diablo, it was delicious and I swore I'd come back; took me almost a year or two but I came back and I'm glad I did! Asked for chimichangas which are fried burritos i got thin tiny and soggy taquitos. i asked for chicken instead of beef, got beef. appetizers (empanadas) had no flavor and the huge bowl of sauce made it worse. thank god for the chips and salsa. never saw our waitress after we ordered, couldn’t even find her for the check and it wasn’t busy at all. all the food was just bad. definitely premade, frozen foods. better mexican food in newburgh off a truck.

We had our company employee appreciation party here and it came out perfect. Everyone enjoyed the food and atmosphere. The service was flawless and friendly. The party pricing was very economical and was able to be personalized to our requests. Highly recommend El Jalapeno Charro. Thank You to all the staff for a wonderful evening of fun and delicious food. We will definitely be back!

Sat down for 30 minutes before we had to grab someone to help us. Then when i asked someone for help the lady was rude and sent someone who couldn't take our drink order. Bad service
