Bidrage med feedbackIn Mutsucho, there is a restaurant called "Seasonal Cuisine Uokichi" along the coast at sunset. The restaurant has a beautiful traditional Japanese-style appearance. Lunch is reasonably priced at around 1000 yen. The ocean view tatami seating is a charming feature. The recommended dish is the Hyuga rice, which consists of sashimi of white fish such as sea bream, dipped in sauce and raw egg, then poured over rice. It is incredibly delicious. You can enjoy local cuisine at a reasonable price of 1,100 yen. One dish I would like to try someday is the "Uokichi Set" for 3,675 yen. It includes kamameshi (rice cooked in an iron pot), simmered dish, steamed egg custard, sashimi, grilled turban shell, soup, pickles, and a side dish.
If you want to enjoy fresh Setouchi seafood in Matsuyama, this is the place to go. While the set meals are recommended, I also suggest ordering seasonal seafood as sashimi or tempura and adding a side of rice to your order.
Located along Route 378, you can enjoy your meal while overlooking the sea. Coming from the Matsuyama direction, you will see the sign on your left. However, it may be difficult to visit by foot as it is located between Iyo Uwanada Station and Shimonada Station. The fresh seafood, especially the sea urchin bowl, was plentiful and delicious at a reasonable price. While the other menu items may not be as impressive as a seafood restaurant, they are still affordable. It is worth noting that the website states the sea urchin is limited to the summer season, so it would be helpful to know the specific end date. When I visited in early October, it was still available.
昼食に訪れました。 釜飯には鯛が入っていて、いいお出汁が出ていて、底には少しおコゲが入っていて香ばしく絶妙な味加減です。 天ぷらは白身魚が3種類に野菜が2種類で、こちらもさっくりふわっと揚がっていて、美味しい! しかもミニうどんまで付いて、1000円 窓からは遮るものが何もない瀬戸の海。 オススメのお店です〜
