Gǎng Yì - 大島町

I felt everything at the restaurant, from the taste to the atmosphere, design, cleanliness, and customer service, was wonderful. There were many picture books, and the coasters, designed by the owner, were themed after Oshima, allowing children to doodle and play. Not only Mount Mihara but also Mount Futatsuyama were depicted, showing great attention to detail. I think it's an easy place for families with children to visit. The sushi with horse mackerel and shrimp on 12/16 was especially delicious. When you visit Oshima, be sure to stop by this restaurant.

We made a reservation and used the restaurant for lunch with two people. The day we visited, the restaurant was fully booked. The local fish sushi was made only with local fish. It was mentioned that the higher grade sushi options may include fish other than local ones. The pickled sushi rolls could be ordered by the piece. The pickled sushi rolls were deliciously spicy. The local fish sushi was also very good.

I was able to enjoy delicious dishes such as island sushi, local fish nigiri, and tempura rice bowl by ordering plenty of individual items, all for just 5,000 yen per person. While the wait may be unavoidable, I recommend spending enjoyable time with good friends.

伊勢海老天丼に付いていた、伊勢海老の味噌汁は、人生最高の味噌汁でした。 寿司は甘めのシャリ。 駐車場は狭いので、先に停められていると苦労しそうです。

お寿司と伊勢海老のお味噌汁が最高でした。 伊勢海老の味噌汁は海老のダシが溶けだしてて、とても濃いです。 地魚のにぎりは、注文すると定員さんが丁寧に種類の説明してくれます。中には聞いたことない種類の魚もいました。 予約して行きましたが、私たちが入った後もひっきりなしにお客さんが来ていました。
