ひょうたん - さつま町

I visited this restaurant during a business trip to Kagoshima. The meal was omakase for 2000 yen per person, including appetizers, assorted sashimi, assorted grilled chicken skewers, stir-fried hormone, fried chicken, grilled fish (which was kamasu that day), and more than I could eat. Since it was a weekday and not very crowded, the dishes came out quickly. The hostess was very friendly and the regulars at the counter seemed to be enjoying themselves. I couldn't finish the bottle of shochu, so I decided to take it back to my accommodation and they even gave me some ice to go with it. If I have the chance, I would definitely visit again.
