Unlike the food stalls at roadside stations, this restaurant offers a full-fledged dining experience in a calm and relaxing atmosphere. A must-try is the wild boar meat, which is the local specialty. The wild boar meat udon is not only made with generous portions of wild boar meat but also includes plenty of vegetables, making it a satisfying dish. The skilled preparation brings out the flavor of the wild boar meat without adding too much richness, creating a truly exquisite dish. It may be more like a hot pot than udon. Don't forget to try the "Ino Fruit" as well! It pairs perfectly with the original "Toyono Cider," which has a rich citrus flavor. This refreshing drink complements the juicy wild boar meat dish perfectly, with a flawless finish. Enjoy it with a beer in the summer for a delightful experience.
I went to eat peony hot pot. It was quite filling and delicious. The miso broth was very tasty. The restaurant was clean and the spacing between tables was wider than I had expected, so I was able to eat slowly and comfortably. I think the price is cheaper than having peony hot pot in Tanba Sasayama or Sanda. The scent of yuzu from the set meal ordered by other customers was soothing. It's right near the station, so I want to go back again.
I came here looking for "Shishinabe miso simmered udon." The restaurant is right in front of Hankyu Myoken-guchi Station, and it looks like a souvenir shop. There is also a spacious private parking lot, so it's okay to come by car. As for the dish I came for, it arrived in a sizzling iron pot, looking voluminous with plenty of vegetables and mushrooms in a miso stewed udon with "boar meat" in it. Furthermore, a grilled rice cake sits prominently in the middle, capturing my heart. There seems to be a meat upgrade option, but I wondered if I could eat it all by myself, so I opted for the regular portion. In this cold season since December, the sizzling hot pot of "miso simmered udon" while sweating and wiping my nose was the best. The "boar meat" had no gaminess at all and was very delicious. When it starts snowing, I might try eating the "botan nabe" next time.
ししとじ丼を頂きました。汁だくで美味しかったです。白ねぎ、玉ねぎ、しめじ、エリンギが入ってました。 みそ汁は120円で追加できます。わかめのお味噌汁でした。
